Howard's Lessee v. Gardiner

The Court gave judgment on the demurrer for the de fendant, that the cause abates by the death of the lessor of the plaintiff. The cause was removed, by writ of error, to the court of appeals, where, at June tuna, 1795, the judgment was affirmed.
